There are a lot of good places to find useful information about your website and how it can gain more presence within the search engine results. I’ll admit. I hit as many of them up as my spare time will permit.

Google Groups Webmaster Help

http://groups.google.com/group/Google_Webmaster_Help

A reasonably well behaved community of seo’s from a variety of backgrounds. Having feedback provided by Google staff members themselves can often help you re-balance your sanity. Opinion’s tend to vary and it’s nice to have a wide spectrum of opinion’s at your fingertips. I go by the handle MrGamma...

Can’t You Find

http://www.cantufind.com/forum/

This forum appears to be a relatively new venture set out by some seriously hardcore seo’s. Some of the information provided is absolutely mind-bending and deserves to be reserved for those writing their thesis for a degree in computer science.

SEO Refuge

www.seorefugee.com

As the name dictates this forum seems to be a collection of regulars who are not quick to jump on the seo bandwagon. They offer some real-life case studies and are very open to sharing their current exploits. While it is not geared to the highly sophisticated mathematical guru it offers some very common sense and real-life scenario ideas. I have been more than impressed with some of the information I have found here.

Cre8asite

http://www.cre8asiteforums.com/forums/

A forum filled with real people talking about real world problems faced by many web masters. Placing your link on the forum is redirected through a javascript which is an attempt to reduce the number of promoters into the website. This tactic lends a deeper sense of community to the forum an while I am just getting started I do believe they will have me coming back for more.

Design Cafe

http://www.dtg-forums.com/forum

A useful resource but it’s seems to be a shallow community. I’m not sure if it’s the lack of avatars or the absence of heated and interesting debates but something is definatly missing.

Ozzu

http://www.ozzu.com/

A community of faceless wanderer’s. With alot of traffic. If you want to get your site reviewed then I highly reccommend this website.

SitePoint

http://www.sitepoint.com/forums

I loathe this forum for the example it sets for the rest of the webmaster community. It’s marketplace is clearly disguised as a contest section where designers of all caliber can begin to reduce their wages to below the legal minimum. Is anyone paying taxes?

Graphic Design Forum

www.graphicdesignforum.com

One of the most tightly knit communities I have come across thus far. Many high caliber web designers have made their home here. Besides the occasional hiccup this forum seems to run fairly smoothly and it offers designers of all walks of life invaluable information that is hard to come by anywhere else.

Eyaks

http://www.eyaks.com/

These guys are just getting started and the leaders of the forum seem to be very ambitious with their efforts. A place where I will continue to contribute just because I can and more importantly to help keep them on the right track. Not a forum for somebody just getting started.

Webmaster-Talk

http://www.webmaster-talk.com

Unfortunately this website seems to be capitalizing on the free work of those who would like to participate in graphic design contests. I was indifferent to this forum when I arrived as they seemed not to offer much from the start and this recent move has proven to me that  they most likely will not have anything special to offer anyone in the future as well. With bids beginning at $50.00 a logo who can really say if the community is going to stick around anyways.

The Scripts

http://www.thescripts.com/forum

Has an interesting riddle section which makes it stand out from the rest.

Technocracy

http://www.techocracy.net/

An article submission website. Just getting started but offers anyone a venue to get their word out.
